Our philosophy is simple here at Kindred Circle Farm, to treat all living beings with compassion & love and to care for the land we are stewards of with a gentle hand.

Caring for the plants

All of our cut flowers are started from seeds indoors, most of which were saved from the previous year, then moved to our tiny unheated greenhouse once it warms up. Plants are then hardened off and mother nature let’s us know when it is safe to move them into the ground. We believe in utilizing organic practices in order to best care for the land, although we are not officially certified. Every plant is nurtured throughout its beautiful life at Kindred Circle Farm. When you purchase flowers from us, you know that each stem was well cared for.

Caring for the land

Over the 20 years we have been living in beautiful Springfield, Vermont, we have learned from the experts (our neighbors) of how to work with the land. We believe strongly in asking the land what it needs from us, not what we can take from it.

We have the world to live in on the condition that we will take good care of it. And to take good care of it, we have to know it. And to know it and to be willing to take care of it, we have to love it.

caring for our animals

Our animal family members, along with our Kindred Circle Farm family members, bring unconditional love and many important life lessons into all of our lives. Wisdom of how to be present in the moment, that we are all connected in this experience called life and that we all have one thing in common…our home is this planet we call earth…and we must care for it. We treat all of our animal family members, our own and our client’s, with the utmost love. They are our brothers and our sisters and it shows in our care for them.
